M74
The most obvious feature of this galaxy are the briliant blue regions of young star formation and pink diffuse gaseous nebulae.
This galaxy is remarkably symmetric which is probably caused by density waves sweeping around its disc, induced by gravitational interaction with neighboring galaxies.
This image was taken in Red, Visual and Blue filters using Faulkes Telescope North.
