The Cat’s Eye Nebula is a planetary nebula in the constellation Draco. Structurally, it is one of the most complex nebulae known. High-resolution Hubble Space Telescope images reveal remarkable detail such as knots, jets and arc-like features.
This image was taken with Faulkes Telescope North, using the H-Alpha, H-Beta and O-III narrowband filters. The H-Alpha was used as the Luminance and Red channels, the H-Beta for the Blue channel, and the O-III was used for the Green channel.
