NGC891

NGC891
NGC 891 is well known with astronomers as one of the best examples of a dust lane which strikes through the midplane of the galaxy. This is a 3 image mosaic taken with FTN. The filters used were Red, Visual and Blue to form the colour image and the Red image was also used as a luminance layer.
