Pilot 0.4m

This is the first of the production model 0.4m telescopes for the LCOGTLas Cumbres Observatory Global Telescope Network network. It is based on the original "prototype" design for 0.4m telescopes.

The telescope is mounted on concrete foundation pillars in the parking lot of LCOGT headquarters. It will be used for testing the new LCOGT telescope control system and user interface, both of which will replace the system currently in place on the 2m telescopes (Faulkes Telescope North and Faulkes Telescope South).
