Operations
The term "operations" covers many areas of our organization.
- Network Operations
- Even a robotic telescope needs help sometimes. This group checks on each telescope in the network to make sure the network as a whole is operating at peak efficiency. They monitor the quality of the images, diagnose and fix problems with the network and co-ordinate site visits.

- There is a large amount of computing power behind the scenes of the network. All of the systems are automated which means a computer (or many computers) make decisions about the weather conditions, opening an observatory, which observation to make next and thousands of other basic tasks. Without an efficient IT infrastructure, a global telescope network would be impossible to manage.
- Administrative Operations
- This team handles all the ordering, shipping and accounting for every aspect of the network and the general running of the company.
