This is a quick snapshot of M11 (aka The Wild Duck Cluster). Some of you may have seen this with your own eyes at Sedgwick last friday. M11 is an open cluster within our galaxy. It lies about 6200 light years away in the constellation Scutum, and contains about 2900 stars. Most of my images consist of 3-5 hours of exposure time, but this one took less than 4 minutes.
