The All Sky Automated Survey project whose final goal is photometric
monitoring of approx. 10^7 stars brighter than 14 magnitude all
over the sky. One set of the instruments is located atop Haleakala, sharing a dome with the Faulkes Telescope North. The other is located in Las Campanas Observatory, Chile.
They are equipped with field lenses (9x9 deg field of view) and scan the whole sky (approx once per day), taking 100-150 exposures per system per night.
